Finn Riggins wanted the design to reference the concept of three characters - a saint, a soldier, and an ocean explorer, or possibly a ghost. My approach was to let two characters have multiple meanings and identities so the viewer has some freedom of interpretation and exploration between the title and the imagery. The exlorer is the soldier as the saint is the soldier and so on.
